Required
The fee for a Tasti D-Lite franchise
is $30,000 with discounts available for purchasing additional
franchises. Area Developer Agreements
are also available. Tasti D-Lite provides the following range of investments
required to open your initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are
paid for in cash. To the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense
items, your front-end investment could be substantially reduced. On-going
Expenses
Tasti
D-Lite franchisees pay a royalty fee equal to 5% of gross sales and national
marketing fund contribution equal to 2% of gross sales. Other costs include a POS webportal
fee of $480 per year. What
You Get—Training and Support Tasti
D-Lite will provide assistance with site-selection, building design and
décor. A ten-day initial training
program will be provided for the franchisee and a key employee at corporate
headquarters in Franklin, TN and at a designated Tasti D-Lite learning center. Training will cover the
following areas: sanitation, operation of machinery and equipment, storage,
product mixing and handling, hiring practices, financial management/accounting,
POS use and marketing. Assistance will also be provided with software
management systems, advertisements, furniture and fixtures, soft serve
equipment, office equipment and software, branding materials, frozen dessert
supplies, assessment tests and product inventory. Additionally, Tasti D-Lite will provide
ongoing support with advertising, maintain a website and provide access to the
Tasti D-Lite Hosted Webportal, which allows remote access to POS related data
including consolidated reporting and system management. Territory
Tasti D-Lite grants protected territories. |
