Foot Solutions Foot Solutions utilizes topographical foot mapping and gait analysis to create custom insoles (orthotics) that turn sore, tired feet into happy, healthy feet by making shoes – whether designed for work, play or both – more comfortable. Although its focus is on customers over the age of 40 (notably the fastest growing market in the U.S.), Foot Solutions provides a full line of quality shoes, arch supports and foot care accessories for all lifestyles. Foot Solutions offers foot care products specifically tailored to individuals with a variety of health problems, including heel and arch pain, diabetic foot disorders, arthritis, sports injuries and back pain. Foot Solutions also provides shoes and other products designed to optimize athletic performance, fitness and training aids and corrective and occupational footwear. A
key part of the Foot Solutions is an individualized consultation for each
customer to determine the proper shoe, orthotic or other foot care product for
their needs. Foot Solutions professionals, versed in both foot pathology and
properly fitting shoes, analyze customers’ problems and prescribe solutions
that will support their foot care plan, accommodate foot problems or simply
offer both comfort and style. In
addition, Foot Solutions’ company philosophy extends beyond the store to contribute
to the community on a local, national and global level, supporting programs
related to children’s obesity, diabetes, fitness and retirement communities.
Investment
Required
The
fee for a Foot Solutions franchise is $35,000. Foot
Solutions provides the following range of investments required to open your
initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To
the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your
front-end investment could be substantially reduced.

Foot
Solutions franchisees pay a royalty fee equal to 5% of total net sales, a
marketing support fee ranging from $115-$192 per week (depending on how long
the store has been in operation) and required local advertising expenditures
equal to 4% of previous month’s net sales (during the first year of operation,
the requirement is equal to the greater of 10% of previous month’s net sales or
$2,000 per month). What You Get—Training
and Support Training
begins with two weeks at the Foot
Solutions Pedorthic training center, where franchisees focus on terminology,
concepts, and techniques in the areas of marketing, customer service, and
inventory control. Franchisees then engage in one week of hands-on training
provided by a Board Certified training staff in a designated operational store.
In addition, franchisees are given: operations manuals and videos; guidelines
for managing operations, work flow, recordkeeping, start-up inventory products,
tools, merchandise delivery and inventory control; and online support through
an exclusive Foot Solutions website. Foot
Solutions will also assist in preparing a loan portfolio, designing and opening
the store, installing and testing equipment and advertising copy. The Foot
Solutions training facility is certified by the Board for Certification of
Pedorthist. Franchisees would receive field set up support for three days,
grand opening support for three days, and follow up visits. Territory
Foot
Solutions grants exclusive territories. |
