Geeks On Call
Geeks on Call provides on-site computer solutions for small businesses that cannot afford to keep technicians on-staff and ordinary households whose computers have crashed. Warranties and manufacturer support do not always provide the help a client may need. Often, problems have more to do with usability issues rather than a need to replace hardware, so Geeks on Call steps in with a solution that traditional manufacturer support does not offer.
Among the services provided are computer repair, custom-built computers, network solutions and upgrades, as well as one-on-one training for people who dont know where to begin when using computer equipment. Powered by a demand for tech support in a market where hardware lasts longer but problems like viruses and corrupted files have multiplied, Geeks on Call has thrived in the fastest growing sector of the computer industry.
Investment Required The fee for an initial Geeks on Call franchise is $25,000.
Geeks on Call provides the following range of investments required to open your initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your front-end investment could be substantially reduced.
On-Going Expenses The franchisee pays an ongoing royalty fee equal to 11% of all gross receipts and an advertising fee of $275 a week.
What You GetTraining and Support Franchisees are given secure territories, with possibilities of additional work in other territories when another franchisee is unable to serve a particular customer. Franchisees determine their level of income by deciding how many jobs to accept, and the Geeks on Call support system takes care of advertising, business start-up training and answering service requests through their call center.
Franchisees themselves do not need to be computer experts, but all field technicians are certified with networking experience and must pass an oral exam.
Territory Geeks on Call does not grant exclusive territories.
