Long John Silver's
Long John Silvers is the nations largest and most dominant quick-service seafood restaurant chain. Its menu features batter-dipped fish, chicken and shrimp, while also offering popular sides such as fries, coleslaw and hushpuppies. The chain was founded in 1969, and today has more than 1,200 restaurants that serve almost four million customers each week. Long John Silvers enjoys the highest market share in its category and aims to increase its dominance through its Fish First strategy for franchise expansion.
As part of the Yum! corporate family, Long John Silvers franchisees can utilize the power of multibranding and add another powerhouse brand to their restaurants. This doubles menu offerings and, consequently, broadens the customer base. Research indicates that consumers prefer multibrand restaurants, and Yum! franchisees are uniquely positioned to take advantage of this preference. A family favorite in the quick-service restaurant industry, its restaurants are recognized for their hamburgers, juicy hot dogs and famous draft A & W Root Beer.
Together these two brands give franchisees a unique one-two punch in the ever-competitive quick-service marketplace.
