Investment Required The fee for a Supercuts franchise is $22,500.
Supercuts provides the following range of investments required to open your initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your front-end investment could be substantially reduced.
On-Going Expenses Supercuts franchisees pay a royalty fee equal to 4% of combined net service revenue and net merchandise revenue during the first year of operations, after which the fee increases to 6%. Franchisees also pay an advertising fee equal to 5% of net monthly service revenue.
What You GetTraining and Support Supercuts offers several different levels of training to cater to the many aspects of operating a salon. Franchisees start their training at a detailed orientation, which is followed by instruction that covers topics including sales tracking, financial systems, retail marketing, sales and merchandising methods, pricing systems and customer service. Further learning opportunities are available through national and regional meetings, seminars and work sessions.
Ongoing training programs are held for store managers to improve management skills and encourage a positive working environment. In-salon training workshops bring a team of artistic directors and vendor experts to the franchisees location to demonstrate the latest styling techniques to keep stylists on the cutting edge of hair design. All Supercuts stylists also attend a five-day training session in proprietary techniques at the Supercuts Hairstylist Academy.
Throughout the entire start-up process, franchisees receive assistance with everything from leasing a site to opening a newly constructed store, as well as with employment recruitment and retention programs. Ongoing support is offered through more than 200 field representatives who respond to franchisees operational needs. All Supercuts branding and promotion are developed by marketing and advertising professionals, who formulate campaigns for television, radio, print, Internet and in-store promotions.
Supercuts salons also generate additional revenue from the sales of professional haircare and styling products. With $400 million generated systemwide annually, valuable vendor relationships are created and volume buying power is increased for each individual franchisee.
Territory Supercuts does not grant exclusive territories.
