Investment Required
The fee for a Jani-King franchise ranges from $8,600 to $16,250, depending on the plan selected � plus a fee of $2,750 for each level above the standard plan. For the franchise fee, Jani-King offers several payment plans without interest.

Jani-King provides the following range of investments required to open your initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your front-end investment could be substantially reduced.

 

On-Going Expenses
Jani-King franchisees pay a service fee equal to 10% of monthly gross revenue and an accounting fee equal to 3% of monthly gross revenue. Other ongoing fees include varying finder�s fees and advertising fees equal to 1% of monthly gross revenue.

What You Get�Training and Support
Jani-King provides franchisees with the following: initial and ongoing training, on-site direction, business protection, cash flow assistance, administrative assistance (including invoicing and collecting) and a range of marketing and support tools. Initial training is supplemented by classroom lectures and discussions, demonstrations both in person and on video and hands-on training. Regional offices also provide additional training seminars and refresher courses. Franchisees need no previous experience in the industry, as training involves teaching the most advanced and efficient cleaning techniques, personnel management, client relations, bid and proposal preparation, administrative procedures, sales and other business-related issues.

Franchisees also have access to customized manuals covering aspects such as customer relations, operations, accounting, business management and marketing.
