seeking business partners who demonstrate their commitment to operational and
product excellence, Auntie Anne's provides franchisees with the tools and
support needed to develop the Auntie Anne's concept, including training for franchisees
and staff at Auntie Anne's Pretzel University, ongoing field support and access
to Auntie Anne’s confidential manuals, training videos, and marketing materials.
Investment
Required
The
fee for an Auntie Anne’s franchise is $30,000. Auntie
Anne’s provides the following range of investments required to open your
initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To
the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your
front-end investment could be substantially reduced.

Auntie
Anne’s franchisees pay royalty fees equal to 7% of gross sales and an advertising
and marketing fund contribution equal to 1% of gross sales. What You Get—Training
and Support New
franchisees are given ten days of training in Auntie Anne's Training Center in
Gap, Pennsylvania, which includes five days of store operations training, two
days of store management training, one day of franchise owner meetings, a one-day
leadership skills program and a one-and-one-half day training skills program. Up
to seven days of on-site training is provided after the store is opened. An
experienced staff provides assistance in site selection, lease negotiation,
store layout and design, research and development, and advertising and
promotions. Auntie Anne’s maintains advantageous relationships with developers
and facility management firms throughout the world. In addition, a network of
corporate and regional employees provides support in operations, general
business issues and marketing in the form of site visits and constant
