The
fee for an INTERIORS by Decorating Den franchise is $29,900. INTERIORS
by Decorating Den provides the following range of investments required to open
your initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash.
To the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your
front-end investment could be substantially reduced.

INTERIORS
by Decorating Den franchisees pay service fees ranging from 7-9% of gross
sales, a national marketing fund contribution equal to the maximum of 4% of
gross sales or $100 monthly and yearly expenses on samples ranging from $1,200
to $2,500. What You Get—Training
and Support Initial
and ongoing training forms the foundation of the INTERIORS by Decorating Den
system, and covers design principles, product knowledge, sales, marketing and
business management. Franchisees first undergo a 45-day home study preparation
program, followed by a comprehensive 2-week classroom training session at
corporate headquarters in Maryland. Training continues with 12 modules of
weekly sessions focusing on key aspects of the business. Following
initial training, INTERIORS by Decorating Den supports franchisees with an
extensive preferred supplier network and an outstanding marketing program
including professionally created print mailers and TV and radio ads. The
company’s strong public relations network has generated thousands of articles,
major magazine features and TV segments featuring franchisee decorators and
“Dream Rooms.” INTERIORS by Decorating Den’s intranet system, DecoNet, streamlines business functions,
enhances communications among franchisees and provides sophisticated customer
