Complete Music has been franchising since 1983 and has survived the highs and lows of the economy. unique opportunity, which can be run from home, is ideal for independent disc
jockeys and videographers that want the support of a proven network. One
hundred percent of Complete Music’s franchisees are owner-operators and over
thirty-five percent own more than one unit. Complete Music participates
in the SBA's Approved Lender Program, helping new franchisees with third-party
financing. In addition, Complete Music franchisees have access to comprehensive
business training as well as start-up and on-going support to create a
successful and profitable business.
Investment
Required
The
fee for a Complete Music franchise ranges from $22,500 to $35,500, depending on
the size of the territory purchased.
Complete Music offers a 20% discount of the initial franchise fee for
franchisees with certain previous disc jockey experience. Complete
Music provides the following range of investments required to open your initial
franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To the extent
that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your front-end
investment could be substantially reduced. Complete Music offers financing of up to 50%
of the initial franchise fee and up to 75% of equipment purchased over 12
months for qualifying franchisees.

Music franchisees pay royalty fees on a sliding scale ranging from 6-8% of
annual gross receipts, national advertising fund contributions equal to 2% of
annual gross receipts and required local advertising expenditures equal to 4%
of annual gross receipts. Other fees
payable by the franchisee include telephone call center fees and weekly media
and website maintenance fees. What You Get—Training
and Support Complete Music provides new franchisees and
any managing operators with initial training including classroom training held
at Complete Music offices or other locations and on-the-job-training. Training lasts
approximately ten days, seven of which take place at the corporate office in
Omaha, NE along with three days of on-site training. After the initial
training, Complete Music offers supplemental and refresher training programs.
Complete
Music assists franchisees in the opening and initial operations of the
franchise as well as in other aspects of the business including advertising and
promotional programs, employee relations, bookkeeping, accounting, inventory
control and sales. Franchisees benefit from Complete Music’s national and
regional marketing efforts, which assist in the development of a loyal customer
base. Complete Music also holds an annual meeting, giving franchisees the
opportunity to share stories and exchange ideas with fellow franchise owners. Territory
