Famous Famiglia, established in New York City in 1986, is an award-winning national pizza brand with leading sales in the QSR pizza segment. Dubbed “New York’s Favorite Pizza”™, the pizzeria has earned several leading industry awards that herald its unsurpassed product quality and customer service. Famous Famiglia serves a wide variety of pizzas, pastas, calzones, strombolis, salads and desserts.
Famous Famiglia’s expansion program revolves around building strong and meaningful partnerships with market-leading operators and landlords. Currently the company is focusing on expanding to high-profile markets and locations, such as leading theme parks, airports, universities, travel plazas, shopping centers, sporting stadiums, casinos, arenas and more. Investment Required

Ongoing Expenses
Famous Famiglia franchisees pay royalty fees equal to 6% of gross sales for the first 5 restaurants, 5% for each additional restaurant, an advertising fee ranging from 0% to 2% of gross sales, and a cooperative advertising fee ranging from 0% to 2% of gross sales.
What You Get—Training and Support
A franchisee, a general manager and two employees are required to attend a two to four week initial training session conducted at the Famous Famiglia corporate headquarters and a designated company-owned restaurant in White Plains, NY. Training programs cover topics on restaurant operation, management, marketing and accounting, and are offered five to six times a year beginning on Monday mornings. Supplementary training sessions are offered throughout the year.
Territory
Famous Famiglia does not grant exclusive territories, except for the assigned area (i.e. airport, university, shopping mall) in which each restaurant is located.
